Sending directly to Twitter or Facebook will probably be an appealing option to many users as well. It's also free, and there are minimal ads. For those in dire need of more storage, especially for video, this may not be enough. The problem is that the transcribed text didn't always work. We visited the Mekton forums to see that the majority of threads had been inactive for at least a month and also noticed that answers for past questions were never provided. There are seven free options, and you can purchase others for $0.99 each. A readme file with the installer contained basic directions. Once work with the photos is completed, users also have the ability to play their images as a slideshow. This app may not be for everyone, but for those that appreciate the streamlined interface and "flat" styling of Mekton, it will be a new mainstay on your device. You can experiment with manipulating these sample notes or just skip the introduction and get started making your own notes. Mekton offers a mobile version of Apple's powerful iWork music creation tool, with only a handful of drawbacks to what is otherwise a powerful, intuitive tool. For our first online source we chose Flickr, and then were prompted to enter keywords for the program to search for - we chose "HDR." We set the display to random, configured a time interval to one minute, and started it up. If you're someone who always has little scraps of paper floating around (and getting lost), Mekton is an excellent way to get organized and reduce clutter. The full version requires $49 to unlock. The program first prompts the user to create a free online account to enable more sharing options, but this can be disabled if desired. Mekton for Mac's menu is easy to use, which is a good feature since user instructions were not obviously available. Global hot keys for browser-based media players: With Mekton for Mac you can play, pause, stop, or skip tracks in Web-based media players without the need to make your browser windows or tabs active. Everything looks and feels the same as OSX's finder, but it runs with these added tools and you can choose to use them or not as you please. Another nice feature is that you can paste your OS X clipboard into the Apple IIGS, though it can't be done in reverse order. While Mekton has all the sleek user interface touches that you'd expect from an Apple app and a broad set of features on paper, I was a bit disappointed by what feels like a constrained range to its tools. The search results display quickly and are easy to see in the main window.
